BIOGRAPHY
Wachirawit Ruangwiwat (Thai: วชิรวิชญ์ เรืองวิวรรธน์; born 15 January 2000), known professionally as Chimon, is a Thai actor and one of GMMTV’s longer-serving artists.
He was born in Bangkok and went to school at Assumption College, where he played football for the school team. In 2023 he completed a Bachelor’s degree in Film Studies at the School of Digital Media and Cinematic Arts, Bangkok University, which puts him among the GMMTV actors who trained in the craft behind the camera as well as in front of it.
His first appearance on screen came as a child, with a brief role in the 2006 film 13 Beloved, but he counts 2015’s Ghost Ship as the real start. He signed with GMMTV in 2016 and has been with the company since. The roles that made his name arrived quickly: Sun in My Dear Loser: Edge of 17 (2017), Wave in The Gifted (2018) and its sequel The Gifted: Graduation (2020), Prince in He’s Coming To Me (2019) and Andrew in Blacklist (2019).
Later work includes Ben in Never Let Me Go (2022), Sailom in Dangerous Romance (2023), Bank in My Precious, and Atom in The Dark Dice (2025). In 2026 he plays the tennis coach Kong in Match Point, a role that carries the series’ second couple opposite Sing Harit Cheewagaroon.
