PerthSaint
The PerthSaint pairing began in 2018 with Love by Chance, in which Tanapon Sukumpantanasan, known as Perth, played Ae and Suppapong Udomkaewkanjana, known as Saint, played Pete. Studio Wabi Sabi produced the fourteen episode series, Siwaj Sawatmaneekul directed it, and it aired on GMM 25 and LINE TV from 3 August to 9 November 2018, about fifty minutes an episode.
The series is adapted from the novel My Accidental Love Is You by MAME12938, which was published on Dek-D.com. Pete is a wealthy and shy university student, and Ae is an engineering student who becomes his protector and friend.
From premiere to finale is 98 days, fourteen weeks for fourteen episodes. The count is tidy, and the pairing was formed inside that window.
The franchise continued without them as leads. Season 2, A Chance to Love, centres on Tin and Can, two characters who were supporting in the first season, and it ran thirteen episodes on WeTV in 2020. PerthSaint is therefore tied to the first season in a way that the later seasons do not extend, and the pair is defined by the original fourteen episodes.
Each actor has a page with the full filmography: Perth and Saint. The series page for Love by Chance gives the production details, the cast and the source novel, and the director, Siwaj Sawatmaneekul, has a profile of his own.
The pair’s story also shows how a first season can set up a franchise: the characters who start in the background of the fourteen episodes become the leads of the next season, while Ae and Pete remain the pair that opened it.

The pairing works through contrast of position. Pete is wealthy and shy, and Ae is the practical engineering student who decides to look after him. Perth plays the protector and Saint plays Pete, whose reserve is part of the story, so the scenes between them rely on small acts of care more than on large gestures.

Over fourteen episodes, that arrangement has time to shift. Ae starts as the one who offers protection, and the story gives Pete room to answer back. The relationship is the center of the series from the opening episodes, and the supporting characters, including Tin and Can, orbit around it until season 2 brings them forward.

A viewer meeting the pair for the first time should know the series is more than a single romance. Techno and Kengkla, played by Napat na Ranong and Siwat Jumlongkul, sit in the supporting group, and Tin and Can, who later lead season 2, begin there too. The first season is self contained at fourteen episodes, so the pair can be followed without the later season.
