Feel good stories are a warm blanket. Conflicts get solved instead of deepened, misunderstandings clear up quickly, and you never have to worry about how it ends.
In BL and GL that promise means a lot, because so many queer stories elsewhere run on secrets and loss. Here, families are kind or simply not the issue, and the focus stays on the couple, their friends and everyday life. Sometimes that is exactly what your heart needs.
You will find the Pure Vanilla films from Singapore, Boys’ Lockdown from the Philippines, the Thai GL series GAP, the Fourever You specials and Beside the Sky, plus the Thai web novels East: Tag!, You’re Mine and North: How Much Is Your Love? My tip: on a rough day, put on Pure Vanilla with a sweet snack, or the Fourever You specials if you already love that gang. A smile is pretty much guaranteed, and if not, I will personally apologise.
