About this archive
Chunghwa Telecom is Taiwan’s largest telecoms operator, and Hami Video is the streaming service it sells alongside its broadband and mobile packages. That origin explains what the credit means here: this is a domestic distribution point bundled with a phone bill, not a commissioning body, and a title reaching it has been licensed rather than made for it.
One record carries the credit, a 2026 Taiwanese series that also lists GagaOOLala and iQIYI. Reading those three together is the useful part. The same Mandarin-language production is sold to Taiwanese subscribers through their telecoms provider, to an international queer audience through a specialist service, and to a pan-Asian one through a mass-market platform, all at once. Taiwanese BL is routinely placed this way, across several services that reach different people rather than one that reaches everyone.
A viewer outside Taiwan will not reach a title through this route. The record’s other platform listings are the practical ones, and each title page carries them in full.
