About this archive
Executive producers are the people where the big decisions land. They usually secure or represent the money behind a production, approve the budget, sign off on choices like casting and source material, and answer for the result to a studio, broadcaster or investor. The daily running of the shoot belongs to someone else.
The title covers a range of people. It can be a studio executive with many series on the go, the head of a production company, a rights holder attached as part of a novel deal, or a senior figure who brought a project together. On smaller BL and GL productions it is often the company founder, who may also be directing or producing.
This small page includes Sataporn Panichraksapong, Aof Noppharnach, Aoftion Kittipat, Suppapong Udomkaewkanjana and Chen Pao-ying. My tip: follow an executive producer to see a slate, a run of projects one company backed. It is the easiest way to watch a studio’s taste grow over time.
