Engfa Waraha

Engfa Waraha (Thai: อิงฟ้า วราหะ; born 15 February 1995 in Uthai Thani province), also known by the name Mook, is a Thai singer, beauty pageant titleholder and actress. She reached a national audience as a singer, won Miss Grand Thailand 2022 and, from 2023, built a screen career in which girls’ love series sit right next to award winning film work.

Music came first. She released four singles, two in 2015 and two in 2016, and in 2013 she met Phonraphee Maneethai, a master of the Thai blessing ceremony, who encouraged her to train as a ceremonial officiant and in khap sepha, Thai verse singing. She studied both until she could use them professionally. Before her national breakthrough she also worked as a waitress, greengrocer, food vendor, golf caddie and model. She became widely known as Engfa Sangravee after competing in the seventh season of The Voice Thailand in 2018, where she went out in the second phase, and she later appeared on programmes such as 123 Ranking Show, Still Standing Thailand and Guess My Age.

In 2022 she won Miss Grand Bangkok and then, on 30 April, Miss Grand Thailand 2022, becoming the first representative of the capital to take the national title. She also received the Photogenic award and was one of three finalists named winners of the Miss Grand Morlam Rising Star sub contest. On 25 October 2022 she finished first runner up at Miss Grand International 2022 in Indonesia.

Her acting debut came in 2023 as Meena in the series Show Me Love, alongside fellow Miss Grand Thailand 2022 contestant Charlotte Austin. In 2024 she played Kulap in Bangkok Blossom, Night in Club Friday: Love Bully and Tul, a rookie officer of the Criminal Investigation Department on her first field deployment, in Petrichor, again opposite Charlotte Austin, who plays the forensic doctor Cherran. Her first feature, The Paradise of Thorns (2024), cast her as Mo; it earned her Best Actress of the Year at the 2025 Thailand Box Office Awards and second place for Best Actress at the 14th Thai Film Director Awards.

In May 2025 she was one of seven women honoured at the Women in Cinema Gala held by the Red Sea Film Festival Foundation at the Hôtel du Cap Eden Roc during the Cannes Film Festival. Her upcoming film Lady Bee, directed by Rutaiwan Wongsirasawad and Thanika Jenjesda, was announced at the Cannes market the same month; it reimagines Utsana Phloengtham’s classic The Story of Jan Dara with her as Lady Boonleung. Later series include The Tipsy Mystery (2025) as Ping and Unlimited Love (2025) as Plu, and in 2026 she plays Nam, Apo Watinwanich, across the four part 4 Elements series, leading The Water. Other 2026 work includes Murder in the Kitchen as Nalin, a guest role as Rinlada in Under Her Rules and Malee in the film The Stain.
