She won Miss Grand Thailand before she ever acted, and in this industry that is a career path rather than a curiosity.

Engfa Waraha, born 15 February 1995 in Uthai Thani, competed on The Voice Thailand in 2018, took the Miss Grand Bangkok title and then the national Miss Grand Thailand crown in 2022, finishing as first runner up when that year’s international final was held. She began acting in 2023 and plays a lead in Petrichor, the 2024 girls love series for ONE 31 and iQIYI.

Thai pageants are not a side industry. They are televised over weeks, they draw sponsor money and national audiences, and a winner emerges with a public profile that would take an unknown actor several years to build. Casting directors treat that as an asset, so the pipeline from a crown to a drama contract is short and well travelled.
