Jake Hsu is a Taiwanese actor from Zhongli in Taoyuan. He studied drama at the National Taiwan University of Arts, earning a bachelor of fine arts, and entered the industry in 2015 with a small part in the series Youth Power. Between 2016 and 2017 he appeared in several titles from the Qseries anthology, including Love of Sandstorm, Life Plan A and B, Close Your Eyes Before It’s Dark and 1000 Walls in Dream, which brought him wider recognition. He took his first television lead in My Goddess in 2018, then played police officer Meng Shao Fei opposite Chris Wu in the 2019 boys love series HIStory3: Trapped. Later television work includes Zihuatanejo, Trinity of Shadows, Shards of Her, Born for the Spotlight and Had I Not Seen the Sun, while his films include The Paradise, Waiting for My Cup of Tea and Lost in Perfection.
