Wilson Liu

Wilson Liu is a Taiwanese actor. He attended Da’an Vocational High School and studied applied English at Chihlee University of Technology before moving into acting. He made his screen debut in 2019 as Sun Bo Xiang, one of the main roles in the boys love series HIStory3: Make Our Days Count, and returned to the character for guest appearances in HIStory4: Close to You in 2021. He appeared as Chris in the 2022 series About Youth and took a supporting part in the horror film Minxiong Haunted House the same year. In 2023 he made a guest appearance in Kiseki: Dear to Me. He played the lead role of Chung Han, a mute restaurant worker, in the feature film Locust, which premiered in the Critics’ Week section of the 2024 Cannes Film Festival and later screened at the Morelia International Film Festival. In 2025 he appeared in the film Penguin Girl. He is credited in international festival listings as Liu Wei-chen.

Born on 8 July 1998, he was cast while still in his early twenties as Sun Bo Xiang (孫博翔) in HIStory3: Make Our Days Count (那一天), part of a largely inexperienced ensemble assembled by director Tsai Mi Chieh (蔡宓潔). He was 22 when that role brought him a Golden Bell nomination in 2020. Little else about his working life before that role is documented in press coverage.
