Netflix is probably already on your TV, which makes it the easiest door into BL and GL for a lot of people. It is the most widely available service on these pages, with several plans including one with ads, and subtitles and dubbing in many languages, so an English subtitled version is usually there wherever the show is.
The catch is that Netflix builds its library country by country. A Thai, Korean, Japanese or Chinese series can be on Netflix in one place and missing in another, and a title here might be a global original, a co production or a licence for certain markets only. So always search in your own country to be sure.
The mix is great: Filipino favourites Like in the Movies, Gameboys and Hello Stranger, the Taiwanese film Your Name Engraved Herein, Thai shows like This Love Doesn’t Have Long Beans, The Crow Club and Unlucky Bae, the Japanese Cherry Magic series and movie, and GL titles like Fragrance of the First Flower, Friendly Rivalry, Uranus2324 and Balaraw: Blood Island.
