Up Poompat Iam-samang (Thai: อัพ ภูมิพัฒน์ เอี่ยมสำอาง; born December 4, 1994) is a Thai actor, singer and model born in Bangkok, and one of the most academically accomplished leading men in the Thai BL industry. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the international programme of Chulalongkorn University’s Faculty of Communication Arts, where he was a “Chulakatakorn” drum major and campus theatre actor, then completed a master’s in international relations and diplomacy at SOAS University of London, and is pursuing a doctorate at Chulalongkorn’s Faculty of Political Science.

First famous online through the “Chula Cute Boy” Facebook page, Up entered the industry through KA Cosmetics commercials opposite First Kanaphan and the 2015 student film The Gifted, followed by the Korean reality show Babel 250 (2016). His breakthrough came as the writer Gene in Lovely Writer (2021). He later starred as superstar Ming in the iQIYI hit My Stand-In (2024) opposite Poom Phuripan, forming the UpPoom pairing, and reunited with Poom as police officer Krit in the WeTV series Love of Silom (2026). As a singer under his own label JustUp, he debuted on June 30, 2022 with the digital single “Up To You”.
