SYNOPSIS
The Edge of Horizon (Thai: อรุณรุ่ง; RTGS: Arun Rung, meaning "Dawn") is a 2026 Thai historical boys' love (BL) drama produced by The One Enterprise for One31, set against the real upheaval of 1932 Siam. The series pairs two of One31's rising stars: Prince Thinnakon (Ongsa Theethuch Khummuang), a young man born into a family of royal lineage, and Phopthee Mankhongphak (Inn Jakkrasin Atsavatanachai), a commoner who has nothing but his pride and dignity. A love that first bloomed in their youth is torn apart by tradition and rank; as the two grow up in a country on the edge of sweeping political change, fate brings them back together, and their forbidden feelings begin to stir once more. More than a simple romance, The Edge of Horizon frames love and human dignity as things that should not be confined by rank, title, or birth, folding the real 1932 Siamese Revolution into its central couple's fate as the political ground shifts beneath them. Phopthee refuses to accept that the line between commoner and nobility should decide who he is allowed to love, setting up a story where personal dignity and royal honor are weighed against the heart.
