BIOGRAPHY
Phuwin Tangsakyuen (Thai: ภูวินทร์ ตั้งศักดิ์ยืน; born 5 July 2003 in Bangkok) is a Thai actor signed to GMMTV and a singer with Riser Music. He is best known for his lead roles opposite Pond Naravit Lertratkosum, from Fish upon the Sky (2021) to Me and Thee (2025).
He studied at Ascot International School Bangkok and Ruamrudee International School, earned a GED diploma and went on to Chulalongkorn University’s Faculty of Engineering, graduating in Information and Communication Engineering on the International Program in 2024.
His screen career began with the television drama Sunshine My Friend in 2014. He then played the younger versions of lead characters in Neung Nai Suang (2015), Luerd Mungkorn (2015) and Sane Rai Ubai Rak (2016), and appeared on stage as Friedrich von Trapp in the 2015 Thai production of The Sound of Music at Muangthai Rachadalai Theatre.
A main role as Morn in ‘Cause You’re My Boy (2018) was followed by Third, a student who can read minds, in the GMMTV science fantasy series The Gifted: Graduation (2020). The comedy Fish upon the Sky (2021), where he played Pi opposite Pond, made his name more widely known, and the pair reunited for Never Let Me Go (2022), with Phuwin as Nuengdiao, and again for We Are (2024), where he plays Peem. He also played Kul in Wednesday Club (2023) and Lune in Summer Night (2024).
Along the way he picked up a long list of supporting and guest parts. He appeared in Our Skyy (2018), played Namfah in The Charming Step Mom (2019), returned as Morn for a guest spot in Dark Blue Kiss (2019), played Wifi in My Bubble Tea (2020) and Ice in The Warp Effect (2022). In February 2026 he performed with other Riser Music artists at Impact Arena for the Riser Concert: The First Rise.
His film debut came with the horror movie Hoon Payon (2023), in which he played Tham. In April 2023 he was announced as the voice of Lifeweaver, a hero of Thai origin in the game Overwatch 2, after passing a blind audition, and the character launched on 12 April 2023. In 2025 he voiced Hiccup in the Thai dub of How to Train Your Dragon, played Kris Tangsinsup in the Netflix series Dalah: Death and the Flowers, starred as Diesel in Taste and led Me and Thee as Peach, a role he continued in the 2026 mini series Peach and Me.
As a singer he released his debut single “To You” on 19 September 2024, followed by “All In” on 15 September 2025, “A Minute” on 31 March 2026 and “Black Card” in August 2026. He and Pond held the PondPhuwin Rendezvous Fancon 2025 at Union Hall and the POND PHUWIN Space Soul-dyssey Concert at Impact Arena on 21 to 23 August 2026, where their new series The Missing Sunshine was revealed. He is also cast in Scarlet Heart Thailand as Prince Fah-Ham.
I have followed Phuwin through a whole run of shows, and the thing that delights me most is his range of jobs. He has stood on a musical stage, voiced a hero in Overwatch 2, lent his voice to a dragon rider and finished an engineering degree along the way. Busy does not begin to cover it.
If you are new to him, start with We Are for the PondPhuwin comfort factor, then jump to Dalah: Death and the Flowers to see him in something darker. And keep an eye on The Missing Sunshine, because a hitman story with Pond is a big new colour for this pair.
