Sasinan Pattana
BIOGRAPHY
Sasinan Pattana (ศศินันท์ พัฒนะ), credited as Prang (ปราง), is a Thai director and acting coach. She studied performing arts at Chulalongkorn University’s Faculty of Communication Arts and holds a master’s degree in aesthetic communication.
Her credits open with small acting parts: a teacher in Fathers (2016), a nurse in The Promise (เพื่อน..ที่ระลึก, 2017) and a computer teacher in Brother of the Year (น้องพี่ที่รัก, 2018).
From mid 2024 the directing credits begin, and almost all of them are GMMTV productions for GMM 25:
- The Trainee (ฝึกงานเทอมนี้ รักพี่ได้มั้ย), twelve episodes from 30 June 2024 to 15 September 2024, a series set inside the film industry about an intern and a mentor. She directed it with Thachai Komolphet. Atthaphan Phunsawat plays Ryan, an eager intern who starts work as an assistant director, and Jumpol Adulkittiporn plays Jane, the mentor who at first brushes him off.
- Break Up Service (บริษัทลดรักเลิก), twelve episodes from 31 March 2025 to 23 June 2025, adapted from a webtoon by Komai and carried on YouTube, TrueVisions and GMM 25. Thachai Komolphet again shares the directing, and the leads are Jumpol Adulkittiporn and Jorin Khumpiraphan.
- MuTeLuv (โปรดใช้วิจารณญาณในการรักเธอ), a twenty eight episode anthology that began on 25 August 2025 and ended on 2 March 2026, made with Parbdee Tawesuk and shown on Mondays. It is built from seven four-episode stories, and five directors share it: Muangthai Sarupkarn, Sasinan Pattana, Thachai Komolphet, Jarupat Kannula and Suwanun Pohgudsai. Sasinan directed four of its episodes.
- You Maniac (เดี๋ยวจะรักซะให้บ้า), a ten episode boys’ love series from 29 August 2026.
In October 2025 she took a different kind of credit. On Love Moment (บทรัก), an eight episode Thai girls’ love reality competition carried on WeTV, Channel 3 and YouTube and produced by WeTV with Kantana Motion Pictures, Sasinan appears as herself, credited as coach. The format brings together eight women who want to act and puts them in one house.
A GMMTV director who is also credited as coach on the girls’ love reality competition Love Moment.
Her directing credits include The Trainee, four episodes of the anthology MuTeLuv, the webtoon adaptation Break Up Service and the boys’ love series You Maniac.
Love Moment is a competition for women who want to act, and Sasinan trained in performing arts before moving into directing.
A thread of teaching and care runs through the list. The three early acting parts are a teacher, a nurse and a computer teacher, all roles built around looking after or instructing other people, and the later credit as coach on Love Moment is the same kind of work carried out as herself. The directing years are compact: The Trainee in June 2024, Break Up Service in March 2025, MuTeLuv in August 2025, Love Moment in October 2025 and You Maniac in August 2026.
In my view, the most telling line on her list is the shared directing credit. Thachai Komolphet stands beside her on The Trainee and Break Up Service and again among the five names on MuTeLuv, so she works inside a team of directors rather than alone, which fits a career that began with acting parts about teaching and care.
