SYNOPSIS

Top Form (Thai: กอดกันมั้ย นายตัวท็อป) is a 2025 Thai Boys' Love series produced by Tailai Entertainment with WeTV, directed by Wasakorn Khumklaowiriya. Eleven episodes were released on WeTV from 20 March to 15 May 2025.

Jin (Chisanupong "Smart" Puangmanee) and Akin (Raweewit "Boom" Jiraphongkanon) are rival actors, one an established star and one a newcomer, thrown together by a magazine ranking and by the industry that manages both their images. Jade (Pongsakorn "Toey" Mettarikanon) and Johnny (Peeranat "Peanut" Veeranipitkul) carry the second storyline, alongside Naru (Waratthip Kittisiripaisan) and Judy (Kannaporn Puangtong).

It is the world's first live-action adaptation of the Japanese Boys' Love manga Dakaichi: I'm Being Harassed by the Sexiest Man of the Year, which had previously been adapted as an anime and a film in Japan but never as a drama.

Adapted from the Japanese Boys' Love manga Dakaichi: I'm Being Harassed by the Sexiest Man of the Year (抱かれたい男1位に脅されています。) by Hashigo Sakurabi, published by Libre and serialised in Magazine Be x Boy since July 2013. This is the world's first live-action adaptation of the manga; a Japanese anime series followed it in 2018 and a Japanese animated film in 2021, but no drama version existed before this one. The direction of the adaptation is itself unusual, since Thai Boys' Love productions almost always adapt Thai source material rather than licensing from Japan.

The licensing direction is the story here. Thai Boys' Love has spent a decade adapting Thai novels and exporting the results; this is a Thai studio buying a Japanese manga and selling the adaptation back, with Japanese subtitles on the trailer. That is a different commercial posture from the one the industry is used to, and it arrived with a manga that already had an anime and a film behind it in Japan, so the comparison was built in from the first episode.

The premise itself, two actors ranked against each other by a magazine and then managed into proximity, gives the series something most rivalry romances lack: an external institution doing the pushing, so neither character has to be written as unreasonable to keep the conflict alive.
