VegasPete
The VegasPete pairing is a second lead pair written into KinnPorsche from the start rather than added later as a subplot. Vegas Kornwit Theerapanyakun, played by Bible Wichapas Sumettikul, is the son of the Theerapanyakun family’s minor branch, a man who has spent his whole life being told which half of the family he belongs to. Pete Phongsakorn Saengtham, played by Build Jakapan Puttha, is one of Kinn’s bodyguards. The two are on opposite sides of a war before they are anything else to each other.
Be On Cloud commissioned fourteen episodes rather than the Thai standard of twelve, and most of the extra room went here. Their story runs the full length of the series and resolves on its own terms rather than as an epilogue to the main couple’s. The two actors came to it from opposite directions: KinnPorsche was Bible’s first screen credit of any kind, while Build had been working since 2017 and arrived with four television credits behind him, two of them long-form lakorns.
KinnPorsche, the series behind VegasPete, runs fourteen episodes of 56 minutes each.
That comes to 784 minutes, about thirteen hours, broadcast from 2 April to 9 July 2022. The series streams on One 31, iQIYI and U-NEXT.
KinnPorsche carries ten genre tags, from Mafia and Bodyguard to Family Saga, Enemies to Lovers and Slow Burn.
<p>What this pair is built on is coercion turning into something neither of them planned, and the series does not soften that. Vegas holds power over Pete for most of their story, and the script keeps returning to the imbalance rather than dissolving it once the relationship starts. Bible plays Vegas with a control that reads as inherited rather than earned. Build plays Pete as someone whose endurance is a skill rather than a virtue. The register is colder than the main couple's and deliberately more uncomfortable to watch.</p><p>It is the harder of the two stories in <em>KinnPorsche</em>, and the fourteen-episode order is what makes it land: at twelve it would have been a subplot with a tidy ending. Carrying it is also why both performers became widely known outside Thailand on the strength of a single credit, which is unusual for a second pair in this category.</p>
