Build Jakapan Puttha

Build Jakapan Puttha (Thai: บิว จักรพันธ์ พุทธา; born June 4, 1994) is a Thai actor and graphic designer. He is best known internationally for playing Pete Phongsakorn Saengtham in KinnPorsche (2022), but he came to that role with five years and four television credits already behind him, which is not the usual profile for a performer in this category.

He was born in Saraburi, a province in central Thailand north-east of Bangkok, and graduated from Bangkok University‘s Faculty of Communication Arts. He keeps a parallel practice as a graphic designer rather than treating it as a former career.

His screen debut came in 2017 in the lakorn Yeua Payabaat, where he played Danai across thirty episodes. He followed it with Pink Sin in 2018, a twenty-four-episode drama in which he played Katha, and appeared as himself on Sound Check in 2021. That same year he took the role of Oak in Praomook, a fifteen-episode series. Four television credits across four years is a working actor’s record rather than a debut, and it is the reason his performance in 2022 reads as more settled than a first-timer’s.

KinnPorsche gave him Pete, one of Kinn’s bodyguards, and a storyline opposite Vegas that runs the full fourteen episodes rather than sitting as a subplot. The second pair in that series is written in a colder and more uncomfortable register than the main one, and Pete carries most of the weight of it. It is the part he is recognised for outside Thailand. In 2024 he played Jake in the eight-episode series Infinity.

He announced his departure from Be On Cloud at a press conference on January 28, 2023, and set up his own company that April; he has been self-managed since.
