About this archive
They start out as rivals, opponents or people on opposite sides, and slowly, painfully, deliciously, it turns into something else. Enemies to lovers has to earn that shift, and that is half the fun.
The best part is the banter. Every insult hides a little attention, every argument shows how closely they watch each other, and the moment one of them finally softens feels like a prize. Expect forced teamwork, a reluctant rescue and the classic line where someone says they hate the other while clearly not hating them at all.
Bad Buddy is the classic here, with Thai friends like Match Point, You Maniac, Mr. Fanboy, Crazy Love, Moo-Moo! and The Heart Killers. GL fans get Petrichor and Cranium. Japan brings Fake Fact Lips, Unexpectedly Naughty Fukami and The Journey to Killing You, and Hong Kong adds Ash and Kiss or Kill. My tip:
Bad Buddy first, then go dark with Kiss or Kill. Uff, the tension.
