Kiss or Kill

Kiss or Kill (Chinese: 赴海, pinyin: Fù Hǎi) is a 2026 Mandarin-language BL action-crime web series distributed internationally by the Taiwan-based LGBTQ+ streaming platform GagaOOLala. The series runs 10 episodes of roughly 25 minutes each and premiered on 19 August 2026 with a double-episode opening, then moved to a twice-weekly Friday release. It is directed by yiyi and stars two newcomers in their first credited leading roles.

Three years before the story opens, a violent firefight at the border threw together the mercenary Nie Chuan (Orion Chen) and the enigmatic Lin Yan (DayDay), who fought side by side through a hail of bullets and then went their separate ways. When they meet again it is inside the Lin Group, a crime syndicate built on illegal arms trafficking, and neither man is who he claims to be. Both are operating undercover, both are watching the other, and each has to decide how much of what passed between them at the border was real. What follows is a story of gang warfare, hidden identities and shifting allegiances, in which the pull between the two men becomes the one thing neither can control and the one thing most likely to get them both killed.

The series is presented in Mandarin with official multi-language subtitles. GagaOOLala carries it as a licensed streaming title, and the production's own official YouTube channel (赴海 Kiss or kill) publishes subtitled full episodes alongside trailers and behind-the-scenes material. Sources differ on the country of origin: TMDB lists the production countries as Taiwan, Hong Kong and China, while MyDramaList records Hong Kong. The series was still airing at the time of writing, with the broadcast run scheduled to conclude on 18 September 2026.
