About this archive
Producers are the people who turn a script into something that can actually be filmed. They raise or allocate the budget, hire the director and crew, set the schedule, secure the rights to the source and keep the whole thing on time and on cost, right through delivery to a broadcaster or platform.
In BL and GL the role often reaches further. Several studios also manage the actors in their shows, so one company may develop the series, cast from its own roster, release the music and run the fan events after. A producer inside that setup shapes careers too, deciding which pairings to build and where to place them. On small independent shows, the producer is often also the director or writer.
Here you will find Sataporn Panichraksapong, Aof Noppharnach, Jojo Tichakorn, Woodie Pongchaiphat, Sakon Tiacharoen and many others. My tip: producers tend to stay with a company much longer than any cast does, so following one is a smart way to understand why a studio’s shows feel the way they do.
