BIOGRAPHY
Tai Bo, whose given name is Cheung Ka-nin, is a Hong Kong actor whose screen career began in 1973. He spent part of his childhood in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, where he completed primary school, before his family moved to Hong Kong. He started out as a stuntman and took small parts in Hong Kong action cinema, working frequently alongside Jackie Chan’s stunt team, and appeared in titles such as Enter the Dragon, Ninja in the Dragon’s Den, Police Story and Drunken Master II. He has since accumulated more than two hundred and fifty film and television credits across Hong Kong and Taiwan productions. In 1984 he received Hong Kong Film Award and Golden Horse Award nominations for The Public Servant, and in 2000 he won the Golden Horse Award for Best Supporting Actor. In 2019 he took the leading role of Pak in Ray Yeung’s film Twilight’s Kiss, for which he won the Hong Kong Film Award for Best Actor in 2020. He continues to work in television, including the 2025 series Mobius.
