BIOGRAPHY
August Vachiravit Paisarnkulwong (ออกัส วชิรวิชญ์ ไพศาลกุลวงศ์) is a Thai actor born on 31 August 1996. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in sports management from the Department of Sports Science and Sports Development, part of the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences at Thammasat University, a field some distance from the screen work that made him known.
His first television credit is Love Sick, which began airing on Channel 9 on 6 July 2014. The first season ran for 12 episodes, and he played Pete in a cast that included Nawat Phumphotingam. The years after it show a steady run of credits rather than a single appearance followed by a gap. In 2015 he appeared in Ghost Wave, and in 2018 he took the role of Naphat Panya-ankun in the eight-episode Notification.
The next stretch mixed television and cinema. He played See, full name Mongkhol Asawarungrueangkit, in the 19-episode Krong Kam in 2019, and the same year he appeared as Nong in the film Pee Nak. He returned to that role in the sequel Pee Nak 2 in 2020. Playing the same character across two films is uncommon in his filmography, where almost every other credit is a new part, so these two entries stand out as the only direct continuation.
In 2021 he starred in My Mischievous Fiancée on Channel 3 as Param Montianrak, a doctor whose family arranges his marriage to Lomdao, played by Namfah Thunyaphat Phatrathinchaicherin. Lomdao returns to Thailand from America and hides her identity to learn what kind of man her intended husband is. The series was directed by Gib Chapoon Chamroensarn and written by Prapaisri Srinatom. He then took the part of Weha, an angel of death, in the 30-episode Love Forever After.
2023 brought You Are My Universe, a 29-episode Channel 3 series that aired from 25 May to 4 July. He played Thian opposite Punpreedee Khumprom Rodsawat as Kaew. The story begins after the death of Kaew’s grandmother, when an arrangement with Thian leaves her with beachfront land and a promise of help in finding her parents. Katreeya English and Primrata Dej-Udom appear in the supporting cast. This was also the year his management under Channel 3 ended.
In January 2024 he led My Love in the Countryside on Channel 3 as Ma, whose full name is Mana Phanphlai. The drama is adapted from the novel Rak Thuam Thung by Suriyatis and follows an actress sent to rural Ayutthaya to study country life for a film role. Pearwah Nichaphat Chatchaipholrat plays Sri, Marasi Phanphlai, and the screenplay credits are Palapon Pongpat and Nitikarn Pinmuangngarm. The same year he appeared in the film Exit as Luke, and in August he began Addicted Heroin, playing Rahat Kunkanchana-o-cha, nicknamed Hero. The 10-episode series, in which Hero is the son of a general, was released on WeTV, a streaming platform, where his earlier leads in this period had been on Channel 3.
His 2026 work covers two very different formats. Eternal Rain is a 14-episode Friday series on Monomax about a struggle for leadership of the Tinara family, and he plays Nonthasut alongside Thikumporn Rittapinun, Lapassalan Jiravechsoontornkul, Louis Scott and Mayura Sawetsila. Love Destiny followed from 14 July, a 10-episode period romance on Channel 3 HD in which he plays Dech, whose full name is Sunthorn Thewa, opposite Leng Thanaphon U-sinsap. Taken together, the two projects place him in a modern family drama where he is one of five main cast members and then in a historical series where his character, Dech, is one half of the central relationship.
