BIOGRAPHY
Jan Ployshompoo Supasap (Thai: แจน พลอยชมพู ศุภทรัพย์; born January 5, 1995) is a Thai actor, singer and model under GMMTV, and the former leader of the label’s girl group Sizzy. In BL she plays Pai in Cherry Magic (2023 to 2024).
Born in Bangkok, she completed her secondary education at Bodindecha (Sing Singhaseni) School and graduated from Thammasat University in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics. Her entry into the industry came in 2014, when she won a nationwide talent search run by the beverage brand B-ing and appeared in a commercial alongside Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon.
She made her acting debut in 2016 in Senior Secret Love: Puppy Honey and became a recurring presence in GMMTV’s early BL landscape as Praepailin in SOTUS (2016) and SOTUS S (2017). She led YOUniverse (2018) as Sun, and her turn as Tida in Who Are You (2020) won her Best Actress in a Villain Role at the Zoom Dara Awards and a nomination at the 25th Asian Television Awards.
In November 2019 she became leader, lead vocalist and lead dancer of Sizzy (originally SISSY) alongside Methika Jiranorraphat, Rutricha Phapakithi and Sarunchana Apisamaimongkol. The group released singles including “Loading Love”, “Love Score”, “Unstoppable”, “PROVE IT” and “LOVE RESPONSE” before disbanding on October 16, 2024.
Her later credits include Cupid’s Last Wish (2022), P.S. I Hate You (2022) as Meen, Cherry Magic (2023 to 2024) as Pai, Peaceful Property (2024) as Pangpang, Hide & Sis (2025) as Baibua, MuTeLuv: Hello, Is This Luck? (2025) as Na, and the 2026 titles Missing and Enemies with Benefits. She won Best Actress of the Year at the KAZZ Awards 2022.
Fun fact to open with: Jan’s nickname Janhae mixes her own name with Donghae from Super Junior, the idol she was a fan of. A fan who became an idol herself? I adore that.
