SYNOPSIS

Cherry Magic (Thai: Cherry Magic 30 ยังซิง; lit. "Cherry Magic 30 Still Single") is a 2023 Thai boys' love (BL) romantic fantasy produced by GMMTV, the Thai adaptation of Yuu Toyota's (豊田悠) manga Cherry Magic! Thirty Years of Virginity Can Make You a Wizard?!. The twelve-episode series aired on GMM25 from December 9, 2023 to March 2, 2024.

It marks the reunion of the popular TayNew pairing, with Thitipoom Techaapaikhun (New) as Achi, a shy stationery-company worker who discovers on his 30th birthday that, having stayed a virgin, he can now read minds by touch, and Tawan Vihokratana (Tay) as Karan, his famous, handsome, and kind colleague. The cast also includes Panachai Sriariyarungruang (Junior) as Jinta and Harit Cheewagaroon (Sing) as Rock.

When Achi accidentally reads Karan's mind, he is stunned to learn that his admired co-worker has fallen for him. As Achi fumbles with his new ability and tries to keep his distance, Karan's steady, gentle affection slowly opens his guarded heart, in a warm office romance about insecurity, kindness, and unexpected love.

A highly anticipated remake that trended worldwide during its run and holds a strong IMDb score, the Thai Cherry Magic aired on GMM25, Viu, and GMMTV's YouTube channel within Thailand. Its international streaming was later suspended due to a licensing issue.
