Mook Jarinee Thanomyat

Mook Jarinee Thanomyat (Thai: จารินี ถนอมญาติ) is a Thai television screenwriter working chiefly for GMMTV. She is one of the three credited writers on Cherry Magic (2023), the Thai adaptation of Yuu Toyota’s Boys’ Love manga, alongside Manow Waneepan Ounphoklang and PingPong Suwanun Pohgudsai.

Her earliest credits are Malee (2015) and Gasohug (2016). In 2018 she worked on four titles, The Gifted, Social Syndrome, Notification and Kiddee Clinic. The 2019 pair Sucker Kick and 4Freaks 4Fam came next, then the body-swap comedy The Shipper in 2020.

Her credits from 2021 onward include Angkhan Khlumpong, 55:15 Never Too Late and F4 Thailand: Boys Over Flowers (2021); Enigma, UMG and Cherry Magic (2023); Summer Night and Peaceful Property (2024); and The Tipsy Mystery, Enigma Black Stage and The Dark Dice (2025). On Peaceful Property she is credited for screen story rather than screenplay, meaning she supplied the story the scripts were built from.

She has one voice credit, on Enigma Black Stage (2025). Two further projects, Oxytoxin and the film Overacting, are listed without release dates.

The Gifted aired from 5 August to 4 November 2018 on One31 and LINE TV, thirteen episodes built around a student from a modest background who is moved up into an elite, secretive programme where students are trained to develop supernatural abilities. Korapat Kirdpan, Wachirawit Ruangwiwat, Ladapa Thongkham, Harit Cheewagaroon, Methika Jiranorraphat and Atthaphan Phunsawat led the cast, and four directors shared the episodes.

F4 Thailand: Boys Over Flowers premiered on GMM 25 on 18 December 2021, sixteen episodes directed by Patha Thongpan and produced by Parbdee Taweesuk. It adapts a Japanese manga for a Thai elite school, with Tontawan Tantivejakul as Gorya and Vachirawit Chivaaree as Thyme among its leads.

Enigma is a four-episode mystery that aired on Saturdays from 15 July to 5 August 2023 on GMM 25 and Prime Video. Patha Thongpan directed it and is credited as writer beside her on all four episodes. Metawin Opas-iamkajorn plays Ajin, a new teacher at an elite school who turns out to be an occultist fighting dark magic aimed at high achieving students, and Chanikarn Tangkabodee plays Fa, the student who senses something darker behind an attack on a teacher.

Peaceful Property aired from 28 August to 13 November 2024 on GMM 25 and Viu, twelve episodes of 48 minutes directed by Jarupat Kannula. Thitipoom Techaapaikhun plays Home, the heir to a wealthy family who inherits land and properties that are all said to be haunted, and Tawan Vihokratana plays Peach, a chef who can see ghosts after an accident. Cherry Magic followed with the same Thitipoom and Tawan in the leads, running for twelve episodes from 9 December 2023 to 2 March 2024 on GMM 25 and Viu.
