Lee Lee-zen

Lee Lee-zen (Chinese: 李李仁, Li Li-jen; born January 6, 1974 in Taipei) is a Taiwanese actor, singer and television host, and one of the most heavily worked character actors of his generation. He graduated from Shih Hsin Senior High School in Taipei and has been active in the industry since 1997, working in Mandarin and Taiwanese Hokkien across both languages’ drama traditions.

He built his name in long-form Taiwanese television, most durably as Wang Sheng-chih in the marathon SET drama The Unforgettable Memory (2004) and its 2009 sequel, and went on to costume and period work including The Empress of China (2014) as Li Chengqian. He won Best Supporting Actor in a Television Series at the Golden Bell Awards in 2013 for Home, and has been nominated in both acting and hosting categories across his career. Later television work includes My Dear Boy (2017), The Kidnappers (2019), Light the Night (2021) as Piao-ke, The Summer Temple Fair (2021), Holi-Day (2025) and Million-Follower Detective (2026).

His film career is equally dense and skews towards Taiwan’s arthouse and social-realist output: Night Market Hero (2011), Packages from Daddy (2016), Sisterhood (2017), Nina Wu (2019) as Mark, A Leg (2020) as Dr. Gao, Abyssal Spider (2020), Miss Andy (2021), The Falls (2021), You Are On My Mind (2022), The Pig, the Snake and the Pigeon (2023) as Chen Hui, The Black Box (2023) as Hank, Marching Boys (2025) as Chiang Wei-chuan and 96 Minutes (2025). In 2026 he joined the Taiwanese BL series Wishing Upon the Shooting Stars as Old He, appearing in all twelve episodes.
