Kapook Ploynira Hiruntaveesin (Thai: กระปุก พลอยนิรา หิรัญทวีศิลป์; born October 29, 1994) is a Thai actor signed to GMMTV. She plays Phailin Piengporjai in A Dog and a Plane (2026), the GMMTV boys’ love series led by Tay Tawan Vihokratana and New Thitipoom Techaapaikhun.
She was born in Bangkok to a family that includes an older sister, Patcharee “Join” Tubthong, a former actor, and a younger brother. She attended Prasarnmit Demonstration School (Srinakharinwirot University) for secondary education and earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Bangkok University. She began booking commercials at age fourteen. In October 2023, she legally changed her name from Phatchara Tubthong to Ploynira Hiruntaveesin, saying she wanted a name search “for peace of mind” after finding her old name associated with inaccurate information online.
She made her acting debut in a supporting role in Senior Secret Love: My Lil Boy (2016) and has since built a substantial GMMTV filmography, including Jane in F4 Thailand: Boys Over Flowers (2021), Mim in The Player (2021), Judy in The Trainee (2024), and Pim in Pluto (2024), before joining the cast of A Dog and a Plane (2026) and the upcoming Enemies with Benefits.
