Thitipong Chaisati

BIOGRAPHY

Thitipong Chaisati (Thai: ฐิติพงศ์ ใช้สติ), also romanised as Titipong Chaisati, is a Thai screenwriter, director, editor and producer whose career in the commercial Thai film and television industry runs back to 2005. He wrote the screenplay for Uranus2324 (2024) and for Mr.Kill (2026). He produced the BL series The Bangkok Boy (2025).

He started on set, as assistant director on Andaman Girl (2005) and first assistant director on The Letters of Death (2006). His first screenplay credit is Ghost-In-Law (2008), and he directed his first feature, Pai in Love, in 2009.

In the early 2010s he often held several jobs on the same production. On Bang Rajan 2 (2010) he is credited as screenwriter and co-director, and also as editor and casting director at once. On both Ghost Day (2012) and Three Day Two Night (2012) he wrote, directed and edited. He wrote and directed Namo OK (2014).

From 2019 onward his work shifts almost entirely to writing for long-form television. He wrote sixteen episodes of Voice (2019), twenty-four episodes of Daughters (2020), sixteen episodes of Remember You (2021), the Netflix series Bangkok Breaking (2021), fourteen episodes of Finding the Rainbow (2022) and twenty-two episodes of the science-fiction thriller 23:23 (2023). He also wrote and directed the feature Bug Tangmo (2022) and wrote The Ghoul: Horror At The Howling Field (2020).

His recent credits include the screenplay for Uranus2324. He is producer on all twelve episodes of the BL series The Bangkok Boy (2025) and writer on the ten episodes of Mr.Kill (2026). A second screenplay credit, Panor 2, is also dated 2026.

Thitipong Chaisati and director Thanadol Nuansut are credited together on two productions, Finding the Rainbow (2022) and Uranus2324 (2024).

On Finding the Rainbow Thanadol is credited as director, writer and creator, and Thitipong as writer across its fourteen episodes. On Uranus2324 Thanadol is credited with direction and screenplay. He also holds the story credit, and Thitipong is credited with the screenplay.

In my view, the early years tell you most about how he works. An assistant director sees every department of a production, and he moved from that job to a screenplay credit within three years and to directing within four. On Bang Rajan 2 a single film gave him four separate jobs, and that is a lot of trust from a production.

What stayed with me is the change after 2019. Writing for series of sixteen, twenty four and twenty two episodes is a different discipline from writing one film, because the story has to keep finding new ground episode after episode, and he has done it across thriller, family drama and science fiction. The Netflix credit on Bangkok Breaking sits inside that run.

If you are coming to him through the queer titles, I would start with Uranus2324 and then go to The Bangkok Boy. A producer credit rather than a writing credit shows him shaping a series from the other side of the desk, and I find that the most interesting sign of where his career is heading.
