Your Summer, My Storm
SYNOPSIS
Your Summer, My Storm (夏色の雲が恋と嵐をまきおこす) is a Japanese Boys’ Love drama that premiered on TV Asahi on 11 July 2026 in the network’s Oshidora Saturday late-night slot. It runs ten weekly episodes of around 25 minutes.
Natsuki Takemiya (Ryusei Fukada) is in his final year of high school and having a bad summer. His mock exam results are poor, university entrance exams are coming, and his girlfriend has just left him, all inside the same week. His older sister Rio decides the exam problem at least is fixable and brings in her own boyfriend, Sota Kobayagawa (Hidaka Ukisho), as a private tutor.
Sota is the last person Natsuki wants in the house. He is composed where Natsuki is not, he is in the room every day whether Natsuki has done the work or not, and he is, unavoidably, his sister’s partner. The series is about what happens when someone you have decided to dislike turns out to be paying closer attention to you than anyone else is, and about a household that has to absorb the result. It sits closer to a family drama than most Boys’ Love series do: the Takemiya house is full, with Natsuki’s mother Towako (Michiko Hada), his father Goro (Hajime Inoue) and Rio (Momoko Tanabe) around the two leads for most of the running time.
The series is an original screenplay by Yuko Matsuda, directed by Hajime Takezono for TV Asahi with Kazuya Miyata and Naomi Kinoshita, with music by Takatsugu Muramatsu. It is produced by TV Asahi and Storm Labels with production cooperation from Fine Entertainment. Fukada and Ukisho are both members of ACEes, who perform the theme song, Mayonaka no ZOO. It is Fukada’s first solo lead in a serial drama.
