Hidaka Ukisho

Hidaka Ukisho (Japanese: 浮所飛貴; born 27 February 2002 in Aichi Prefecture) is a Japanese actor, singer and idol, and a member of the group ACEes. He is signed to STARTO ENTERTAINMENT.
He grew up going to concerts with his mother, a fan of Arashi and Sexy Zone, and wanted to join the same world himself. It was his mother who sent in his application. He auditioned and entered the agency on 9 April 2016, while in his third year of junior high school, and has named Kento Nakajima as the senior he looks up to.
In November 2016 he was chosen for the junior unit Tokyo B Shonen, which was later renamed Sexy Bishonen and then Bi Shonen. His first leading film role came on 4 June 2021 in Mune ga Naru no wa Kimi no Sei. He kept studying alongside the work, and on 28 March 2024 announced through the junior official Instagram stories that he had graduated from the Faculty of Law at Rikkyo University, an unusual qualification for a working idol.
Bi Shonen effectively disbanded on 16 February 2025, and he moved into the newly formed ACEes the same day. In 2026 he plays Sota Kobayagawa in the TV Asahi Boys’ Love drama Your Summer, My Storm (夏色の雲が恋と嵐をまきおこす), the tutor brought into the Takemiya house by his girlfriend, opposite fellow ACEes member Ryusei Fukada.

That detail is more representative than it sounds. A great many of the people catalogued on this site were placed into the industry as children by a parent, a scout or a school, and the decision that shaped the whole career was made by somebody else. It is rarely recorded, because the story a career tells afterwards is usually about ambition.
In his case the family connection is specific: he grew up going to concerts with his mother, who followed the groups he would later be a colleague of.
He also finished a law degree at Rikkyo University in 2024 while working, and announced it himself through the agency’s junior channel rather than through a press release, which says something about who he thought would care.
