GELBOYS

GELBOYS (สถานะกั๊กใจ, RTGS: Sathana Kak Chai) is a Thai Boys’ Love series from Looke and The One Enterprise. Season one ran on ONE 31 from 8 February 2025, and season two, subtitled Fandom Status, began on 8 August 2026, taking the run to fifteen episodes across two seasons, with international streaming on iQIYI.

Fou4Mod (New Chayapak Tunprayoon) starts hanging around Siam Square after Chian (Pide Monthapoom Sumonvarangkul), who does gel nails, invites him along. The atmosphere is flirtatious and Fou4Mod reads it the way anyone would, right up until he works out that Chian extends the same invitation to Bua (Leon Zech), a TikTok personality, and that being invited is not the same as being chosen. His response is to get closer to Chian’s best friend Baabin (PJ Mahidol Pibulsonggram) in order to be noticed, which works about as well as that ever does.

The Thai title translates roughly as the state of holding your heart back, and it names the thing the series is actually about. Nobody in this group will say what they want out loud. Everything runs on proximity, gel-nail appointments, group chats and who is standing next to whom, and the show treats that arrangement as a real emotional condition rather than a failure of nerve to be fixed in the last episode.

Season one gave each of the four leads an episode of their own, titled after them, with an intro and outro episode framing the set. Season two continues the group into a run of hashtag-titled episodes, beginning with #SituationshipStatus. The series is directed by Boss Naruebet Kuno with Prinwat Rattanachaipiboonkit and Naron Cherdsoongnern, with music by Vichaya Vatanasapt.
