AouBoom
AouBoom is the pairing of GMMTV actors Aou Thanaboon Kiatniran and Boom Tharatorn Jantharaworakarn. GMMTV’s own newsroom writes the pair as Aou-Boom, in that order, and the studio’s official social accounts use the hashtag #AouBoom, so the order here is studio usage rather than fan coinage.
The two had already shared four productions before they were ever promoted as a couple. They appeared in Enchanté (28 January 2022) as Phupha and Wayo, in Vice Versa (16 July 2022), in Midnight Museum (6 March 2023) and in Hidden Agenda (9 July 2023), each time in supporting or guest parts.
The pairing proper was formed for We Are (คือเรารักกัน), which premiered 3 April 2024 and ran sixteen episodes, with Aou as Tan and Boom as Khaofang. It was Aou’s first leading role. They played a couple again in Perfect 10 Liners (27 October 2024), as Klao and Warich.
Since then the two have worked steadily together in different registers: rival-adjacent roles in the period drama Memoir of Rati (20 June 2025), Special Investigation Unit detectives rather than a romance in Dare You to Death (18 December 2025), and back to lead billing as Rome and Raffy in Only Friends: Dream On (27 February 2026). A further series, Billionaire Biker, has been announced without a broadcast date.
Aou is also a member of the T-Pop group JASP.ER under Riser Music, which debuted in December 2024. Boom is not a member, and JASP.ER’s awards belong to the group rather than to this pairing.
We Are, the pair’s first series as a couple, was carried by two platforms across sixteen episodes of 45 minutes.
We Are aired on GMM 25 and streamed on iQIYI. GMM 25 was the Thai broadcast slot that set the weekly schedule between 3 April and 17 July 2024, and iQIYI served viewers arriving after that window.
GMMTV produced the series, and it carries a 13+ rating.
The quietest of the four We Are pairings and the one that has travelled furthest since. Both actors arrived at the series off four shared supporting credits, so the rapport was not built from scratch on camera, and We Are was still the first project to give either of them a lead. What distinguishes the partnership is range rather than volume: GMMTV has cast the two as lovers three times, as feuding aristocracy once, and as professional partners with no romance at all in Dare You to Death, which is a wider brief than most Thai pairings are trusted with. The pairing has now outlasted the series that created it by two years.
