Aou Thanaboon Kiatniran
BIOGRAPHY
Aou Thanaboon Kiatniran (Thai: อู๋ ธนบูรณ์ เกียรตินิรันดร์), born January 9, 2000 in Khon Kaen Province, is a Thai actor, singer, and performer signed to GMMTV and Riser Music. He is the leader and lead vocalist of the T-pop boy group JASP.ER, and is known for his on-screen pairing with Boom Tharatorn Jantharaworakarn, called AouBoom by fans.
Raised in northeastern Thailand, Aou graduated from Khon Kaen Witthayayon High School. In 2022, he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Fine and Applied Arts, majoring in Drama, from Khon Kaen University, and joined GMMTV the same year. Before his acting career, he was part of the dance cover group Boys Issue, and as a youngster he won a gold medal in taekwondo.
Aou made his acting debut in 2022 as Phupha in the GMMTV Boys’ Love romantic comedy Enchante, where he played a high-achieving university ambassador and senior mentor. He continued in supporting and guest roles across GMMTV productions, including Vice Versa (2022), The Eclipse, Midnight Museum, Our Skyy 2, Be My Favorite (2023), and Hidden Agenda (2023), where he played Jeng alongside Joong Archen Aydin and Dunk Natachai Boonprasert.
His first lead role came in the 2024 series We Are, in which he played Tan. He went on to appear in Perfect 10 Liners (2024), The Ex-Morning, Memoir of Rati, and Beauty Newbie. In 2026, he took a second lead role in Only Friends: Dream On, taking over after a casting change, opposite his frequent acting partner Boom.
On December 19, 2024, Aou debuted as a musician with JASP.ER, formed by Riser Music alongside Joong Archen Aydin, Pond Naravit Lertratkosum, and Santa Pongsapak Udomphoch, releasing the debut single Sadistic. As leader and lead vocalist, he anchors the group’s vocal performances. He also performed the OST Jokester for We Are alongside Boom Tharatorn. His work earned a CBLO Awards nomination for Rising BL Actor of the Year (2022) for Enchante, and he and Boom were nominated as AouBoom for BL Couple of the Year.
Drama Graduate, Group Leader, Taekwondo Gold
Aou arrived with real credentials: a Drama degree from Khon Kaen University, time in the dance cover group Boys Issue, and a childhood taekwondo gold medal. It shows. He is great to watch in roles that need a confident front, starting with his debut as Phupha, the high-achieving university ambassador and senior mentor in Enchante, which earned him a CBLO Awards nomination for Rising BL Actor of the Year. On stage he is the leader and lead vocalist of JASP.ER, so expect a performer who can carry a song as well as a scene.
Your First Aou Watch
Go straight to We Are (2024), his first lead role, as Tan. It is the clearest showcase of what he can do with a full arc, and he even sings the OST Jokester with Boom Tharatorn. If you enjoy that, rewind to Enchante (2022) to see where it all began, then catch him as Jeng in Hidden Agenda (2023) beside Joong Archen Aydin and Dunk Natachai Boonprasert.
AouBoom Forever
His frequent screen partner is Boom Tharatorn Jantharaworakarn, and fans call the pair AouBoom. The duo picked up a CBLO nomination for BL Couple of the Year, and in 2026 they reunite as leads in Only Friends: Dream On, his second lead role. Off screen, his JASP.ER bandmates are Joong Archen Aydin, Pond Naravit Lertratkosum and Santa Pongsapak Udomphoch, who debuted together with Sadistic on 19 December 2024.
