JASP.ER (Thai: เจสเป.อร์), formerly known as Project JASP.ER, is a four-member Thai T-Pop boy group formed under Riser Music, the actor-singer focused record label subsidiary of GMMTV. The group consists of four GMMTV actor-singers: Aou Thanaboon Kiatniran (leader, lead vocalist), Joong Archen Aydin (vocalist), Santa Pongsapak Oudompoch (vocalist, lead dancer), and Pond Naravit Lertratkosum (vocalist).
Riser Music announced the group’s formation on December 13, 2024, initially branding them as Project JASP.ER. The group officially debuted on December 19, 2024 with the release of the digital single แรงอีกนิด (Sadistic). The accompanying music video surpassed seven million YouTube views by March 2025.
The group’s name JASP.ER draws from two sources: the gemstone Jasper, symbolizing perseverance and strength, and an acronym formed from the first initials of the four members’ stage names (Joong, Aou, Santa, Pond) with ER added to form a complete word. The group’s official tagline is ‘Shining in Spectrum, United as One’.
On March 31, 2025, Riser Music announced that the group had officially transitioned from a project unit to a permanent boy group, dropping the ‘Project’ prefix from their name. Their second single Take It Off followed on April 4, 2025. Later releases include Touch (December 4, 2025, produced by the Wisp Team), Love Scene (2026) and Wish (2026).
The group’s musical production is led by KANGSOMKS (Kangsom Tanatat Chaiyaat), Peerawicht Tunkam, and the Wisp Team, all part of the Riser Music creative roster.
Four actors walk into a recording studio… and walk out as a boy group. That is basically the JASP.ER origin story, and I love it. Aou, Joong, Santa and Pond were all GMMTV actor-singers before Riser Music announced Project JASP.ER on 13 December 2024, so if you already know them from the screen, here is a whole new way to enjoy them.
What makes them fun to follow is the mix. Aou leads the group and the vocals, Santa brings the dance lead and a survival-show past from the Korean programme Fantasy Boys, and Joong and Pond had already teamed up as featured artists on LYKN’s ฉ่ำ (Charm) in 2024. Joong even fronted the group OXQ under Motive Village back in 2020. Screen fans, take note: Joong is one half of JoongDunk with Dunk Natachai Boonprasert, and Pond is one half of PondPhuwin with Phuwin Tangsakyuen.
