About this archive
A group profile covers an act rather than a person. In BL and GL that distinction matters more than it might elsewhere, because a performer who carries a lead role in a series is often also a member of a music group, and the two careers run at the same time under different names. A record that belongs to the group, a debut single, a line up, a label, does not belong on any one member’s page, and a career built inside the group is not the same thing as a solo filmography.
So groups are kept as their own profiles. A group profile carries the act’s own formation details and the material released under the group name, and it links out to the individual profiles of the members, each of whom keeps a separate page for their own acting and crew credits.
This section is the smaller of the two profile types by design. A person appears here only when they are the group itself, and every named performer, writer, director and composer is filed as an individual instead.
