Iz*One

Iz*One (Korean: 아이즈원, Japanese: アイズワン) was a twelve member girl group formed as a South Korean and Japanese project through the 2018 programme Produce 48. The group debuted on 29 October 2018 with the EP Color*Iz and its lead single La Vie en Rose.

The members were Jang Won-young, Sakura Miyawaki, Jo Yu-ri, Choi Ye-na, An Yu-jin, Nako Yabuki, Kwon Eun-bi, Kang Hye-won, Hitomi Honda, Kim Chae-won, Kim Min-ju and Lee Chae-yeon. Kang Hye-won also works as an actress and holds a profile of her own in this catalogue.

The fandom name was Wiz*One. The group was formed for a fixed period and concluded on 29 April 2021.

Iz*One worked in two countries at once. In Korea the EP Color*Iz was followed by studio albums that included Bloom*Iz, which sold 356,313 copies in its first week in 2020. In Japan they released the singles Suki to Iwasetai in February 2019, which was certified platinum, Buenos Aires in June 2019 and Vampire in September 2019, with both of the latter reaching number one on the Oricon singles chart, and the album Twelve topped the Oricon album chart in October 2020. The project ran to its planned close on 29 April 2021, after which the members moved into new groups, solo releases and acting.
