Manga is the paper heart beneath a lot of Japanese BL on screen. These are the comics, and instead of channels and streaming services you will find imprints and reading apps behind them.
Some of these comics became screen hits, each with its own page, so you can put the original next to what was made from it: Hold on, Harutora-kun, Fake Fact Lips, Cherry Magic and Unexpectedly Naughty Fukami all went that way. Anata wo Korosu Tabi became the series The Journey to Killing You. That is half the fun here, spotting what changed between panel and screen.
My tip: start with the Cherry Magic manga if you loved any version of the show. Reading the original after watching feels like finding the director’s notes. Then pick up Fake Fact Lips if bickering colleagues are your weakness. And yes, reading counts as BL time too. Your reading list just got longer, sorry.
