Kirati Khamsat
BIOGRAPHY
Kirati Khamsat (Thai: กีรติ คำสัตย์; nicknamed Game) is a Thai screenwriter who studied at Rangsit University before beginning a career writing for Thai television.
His earliest known screenwriting credit is The Deadline (2018), and he went on to write for a range of Thai dramas including 55:15 Never Too Late (2021) and the boys’ love hit 46 Days (2021), the latter co-written with fellow screenwriter Thanaporn “Seh” Phetcharas, with whom he has repeatedly collaborated since.
Through the early 2020s he wrote Never Let Me Go (2022), The Warp Effect (2022), How to Be a Perfect Dad (2022), and Mama Gogo (2022), followed by Midnight Museum and Don’t Touch My Gang (both 2023), and the film My Boo (2024) and its sequel My Boo 2 (2025). In 2026 he co-wrote the screenplay for GMMTV and Studio Wabi Sabi’s coming-of-age romance When Oranges Fall, again alongside Thanaporn Phetcharas.
As with many Thai screenwriters working behind the camera, limited personal biographical detail about Kirati Khamsat has been made public beyond his education and produced writing credits.
BLGLFlix editorial view
He writes thrillers and workplace dramas as well, which is the part actors almost never get to do.
Kirati Khamsat, who works as Game, studied at Rangsit University and began writing for Thai television in 2018 with The Deadline. He wrote for 55:15 Never Too Late in 2021 and is credited on When Oranges Fall in 2026.
Writers move between genres freely and performers do not. An actor who becomes known through boys love is cast in more boys love, because the pairing and the audience are the asset being sold. A writer carries a skill rather than a face, so the same person can be handed a thriller one year and a coming of age romance the next, and nobody in the audience notices the continuity.
That mobility is worth recording because it changes how a genre should be read. A boys love script written by somebody who spent the previous season on a suspense drama is not the product of a specialist tradition sealed off from the rest of television. It is the same craft pool.
His debut year, debut work, education and profession are documented. No birth date, agency or public account appears, because nothing citable publishes them, which is the ordinary condition of writers’ records here.
