Dunk Natachai Boonprasert
BIOGRAPHY
Dunk Natachai Boonprasert (Thai: ดัง ณัฎฐ์ฐชัย บุญประเสริฐ; born October 1, 2000) is a Thai actor, singer, model, and entrepreneur signed to GMMTV since January 4, 2021. He is the male half of the JoongDunk on-screen pairing with Joong Archen Aydin, with whom he has co-starred in seven GMMTV productions including Star in My Mind, Hidden Agenda, The Heart Killers, and Dare You to Death.
Dunk is the eldest of two siblings. He completed his secondary education at Heathfield International School in Bangkok and went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Innovation Engineering from the School of Engineering at King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL), graduating on November 14, 2023.
Dunk’s entertainment career began in 2021 when he made his acting debut as a guest in Bad Buddy: The Series on GMMTV. His breakthrough came in 2022 with his first leading role as Daonuea in Star and Sky: Star in My Mind, opposite Joong Archen Aydin, which launched the JoongDunk pairing. His subsequent filmography includes Sky in Your Heart (2022), Our Skyy 2 (2023), Hidden Agenda (2023), Summer Night (2024), The Heart Killers (2024-2025) as Style Sattawat Chayakorn, Dare You to Death (2025) as Khamin, Pocong JD (2025), and I Will Always Save You (2026).
As a solo recording artist signed to GMMTV Records, Dunk has released Thai BL drama OSTs, including the solo track รักแรงทะลุนรก (Fast Love) for The Heart Killers in 2024. Outside entertainment, Dunk founded and operates two businesses in Bangkok: the bakery NAVORI and the clothing brand VESPERA, both established during his university years.
Dunk stands 185 cm (6’1″). He plays League of Legends, where Jinx is his favorite champion, and owns two dogs named Haruto and Moro, who appear on his official social media. With his JoongDunk partner he has received the Thailand Digital Awards’ Couple of the Year and the CBLO Awards’ Best Rookie BL Actor of the Year.
The Engineer Who Moonlights as a Leading Man
Here is my favourite Dunk fact: he finished a Computer Innovation Engineering degree at KMITL in November 2023 while already headlining GMMTV series. Engineering lectures by day, leading man by night. Somewhere in there he also opened a bakery and a clothing brand. I get tired just typing it.
Where to Press Play First
Start with Star in My Mind from 2022. It is his first leading role, and it is where the JoongDunk story begins. Then jump to The Heart Killers, where he plays Style, a car mechanic loosely modelled on Shakespeare’s Petruchio, opposite Joong’s assassin Fadel. If you like your romance with a mystery chaser, Dare You to Death has him as Khamin.
Two Names, One Hashtag
The JoongDunk pairing with Joong Archen Aydin covers seven GMMTV productions, from Star in My Mind through Hidden Agenda and Our Skyy 2 to Pocong JD. If one of their shows wins you over, the rest are waiting in a neat little row.
Keep the Playlist Running
Dunk sings too. His first solo OST, Fast Love, arrived in 2024 with The Heart Killers, and the duets with Joong run through his music from 2022 onward. Watch the show, then put the OST on loop. That is my official homework.
