Ticket to Heaven

In 1996, inside the walls of a strict Catholic seminary in Thailand, faith is a daily discipline and every hour is accounted for. Tanrak (Fourth Nattawat Jirochtikul) is an orphan who has folded his grief into that discipline: he intends to become a priest, and he holds onto the belief that a life lived well will one day return him to the parents he lost. Into that ordered world arrives Barth (Gemini Norawit Titicharoenrak), a transfer student with a temper, a wound he will not name, and no patience for a God he sees as absent. When Tanrak is assigned to guide the newcomer through the seminary's rules, the two boys are pushed into a closeness neither of them asked for, and each starts to unsettle the certainties the other has been leaning on.

What begins as an obligation turns into something Tanrak has no vocabulary for, and the institution around him offers none. Watching over them are Father Arnon (An Oliver Poupart) and Master Phak (Bright Rapheephong Thapsuwan), whose authority draws the lines the boys keep testing, while Kongdech (Ashi Peerakan Teawsuwan), Ryu (Tor Phakawat Tangchatkeaw) and Prince (Guitar Supakorn Kantanit) fill out a student body where rumour travels faster than confession. Beyond the seminary gates, Bussaya (Nok Sinjai Plengpanich) and Barth's Father (Tom Phollawat Manuprasert) carry the family history that shaped the boy Tanrak is trying to reach. Between prayer, punishment and the private minutes the two steal from a rigid timetable, guilt and longing grow in the same soil.

Conceived by director Aof Noppharnach Chaiyahwimhon and written by Kittisak Kongka, the six-episode drama was produced by GMMTV with Gemmistry Studio and aired Saturdays at 8:30 PM on GMM25 and the official GMMTV YouTube channel between May 30 and July 4, 2026, with GagaOOLala carrying it for LGBTQ+ audiences and Rakuten Viki handling English-subtitled international streaming. It reunites the GeminiFourth pairing that began with My School President in 2022, and it uses the 1990s period setting to strip away modern noise: no screens to hide behind, no ready language for what the boys are feeling. The result is a restrained, deliberately paced story about devotion, shame, grief and queer identity inside an institution with no room for any of it, and it saves its final reckoning for the screen.
