Tonliew Methaphat Chimkul

Methaphat Chimkul (Thai: เมธาพัฒน์ ฉิมกุล; born March 3, 1999), known by his nickname Tonliew, is a Thai actor signed to Studio Wabi Sabi. He is best known for playing Typhoon opposite Bever Patsapon Jansuppakitkun’s Tonfah in the Fourever You franchise, a pairing fans know as BeverTonliew.

Tonliew studied Digital Media and Cinema Arts, majoring in film, at Bangkok University. Earlier in his career he was credited under his birth name, Ruttasart Chimkul, before adopting Methaphat as his professional legal name.

He made his acting debut in 2022 with a main role as Yoshi in Hard Love Mission, followed by a supporting turn in Absolute Zero (2023) as Ohm and a guest appearance in Love Area: Part 2 (2022). He also appeared in the Japan-set film Seishin Izakaya (2023) as Yu and the drama Sunshine In The Wind as Phanmile.

Tonliew joined Studio Wabi Sabi’s ensemble drama Fourever You (2024) in a supporting role as Typhoon. When the franchise restructured into three couple-focused arcs for Fourever You Part 2, he and Bever Patsapon Jansuppakitkun were promoted to leads of the first arc, Beside the Sky (2025), where Typhoon’s grief over his sister’s death and estrangement from his family gives way to healing alongside his childhood neighbor Tonfah. He is also set to appear in the upcoming My Summer Internship (2026) as Pluster.

Tonliew performed the Beside the Sky theme song “Tai Fah Diao Kan” (“Under the Same Sky”) as a duet with Bever. He is active on Instagram, X and Threads under the handle @tonliew.mtp, where he posts behind-the-scenes updates from Studio Wabi Sabi projects.
