Natthanon Kheeddee

Natthanon Kheeddee (Thai: ณัฐนนท์ ขีดดี) is a Thai director who came up through the technical departments of Boys’ Love production. He directed twenty-four episodes of Fourever You Part 2 (เพราะรักนำทาง พาร์ท 2, 2025), the Studio Wabi Sabi sequel that ran twenty-five episodes on WeTV from 20 December 2025.

Every credit on his record so far sits inside the genre, and each one is a different job. He was the editor on seventeen episodes of Fourever You (เพราะรักนำทาง), the forty-one episode original that aired on GMM 25 and WeTV from 3 October 2024. In the same year he worked in the camera department on all sixteen episodes of GMMTV’s We Are (We Are คือเรารักกัน), which premiered on GMM 25 on 3 April 2024. He then directed the sequel to the series he had cut. He is also credited as director on the Studio Wabi Sabi pilot How to Survive My CEO (พัตลมอย่าแย่).

Editor in 2024, director in 2025, same franchise

The sequence is unusually clean. Cut seventeen episodes of a show, then come back the following year and direct twenty-four of its sequel, for the same production company. That is a promotion, and it happened inside fourteen months.

Almost nobody can name the person who cut the episode they are crying over. Yet the studios are not only casting from their own rosters, they are growing their own crews, and this record is what that looks like: a technician moved from the edit suite to the camera department to the director’s chair without ever leaving the genre.

There is a second thing here that we think matters more. On other pages in this catalogue we have argued that a Thai Boys’ Love actor’s filmography is decided by contract rather than by casting, because studios cast from their own rosters. This record shows the limit of that rule. In a single year he worked for Studio Wabi Sabi and for GMMTV, two competing houses. The exclusivity that governs Thai Boys’ Love applies to faces, not to the people behind the camera. Crew move between studios freely, which means technique travels across the industry even when actors cannot. If Thai Boys’ Love productions increasingly resemble each other, that is one of the reasons why, and it is a far more mundane explanation than the ones usually offered.
