Tonliew Methaphat Chimkul

Methaphat Chimkul (Thai: เมธาพัฒน์ ฉิมกุล; born March 3, 1999), known by his nickname Tonliew, is a Thai actor signed to Studio Wabi Sabi. He is best known for playing Typhoon opposite Bever Patsapon Jansuppakitkun’s Tonfah in the Fourever You franchise, a pairing known as BeverTonliew.

Tonliew studied Digital Media and Cinema Arts, majoring in film, at Bangkok University. Earlier in his career he was credited under his birth name, Ruttasart Chimkul, before adopting Methaphat as his professional legal name.

He made his acting debut in 2022 with a main role as Yoshi in Hard Love Mission, followed by a supporting turn in Absolute Zero (2023) as Ohm and a guest appearance in Love Area: Part 2 (2022). He also appeared in the Japan-set film Seishin Izakaya (2023) as Yu and the drama Sunshine In The Wind as Phanmile.

Absolute Zero is a twelve-episode ensemble series, which made it his longest screen run before the franchise years. More recent billing includes Nui in Be My Player Two (2026), a supporting part in Built in Love (2026) and Gas in Want to Be on Your Mind. He maintains a YouTube channel under the name Tiewlon.

Tonliew joined Studio Wabi Sabi’s ensemble drama Fourever You (2024) in a supporting role as Typhoon. When the franchise restructured into three couple-focused arcs for Fourever You Part 2, he and Bever Patsapon Jansuppakitkun became the leads of the first arc, Beside the Sky (2025), where Typhoon’s grief over his sister’s death and estrangement from his family gives way to healing alongside his childhood neighbor Tonfah. He also appears in My Summer Internship (2026) as Pluster.

In Fourever You Part 2 his character carries the full name Typhoon Teerapat Chaowakornkul. The franchise runs 24 episodes over three arcs of eight, and Beside the Sky, the first arc, adapts the novel South: Beside the Sky by Howlsairy. Typhoon returns in a supporting role in The Sun from Another Star and again in Lately, It’s Winter Season, the third arc, so the character appears across all three arcs. Tonliew also appears in the one-episode behind-the-scenes special made for Beside the Sky.

Tonliew performed the Beside the Sky theme song “Tai Fah Diao Kan” (“Under the Same Sky”) as a duet with Bever. He is active on Instagram, X and Threads under the handle @tonliew.mtp.
