Chu Chia-wei

Chu Chia-wei (Chinese: 朱家緯), who also works under the name Judy Chu, is a Taiwanese actor. Her professional casting portfolio describes her, in her own words, as a lively and outgoing person who has been working in the industry for fifteen years.

Her most substantial early role is Bai Yi-xin (白藝心) in Lion Pride (獅子王強大), a Taiwanese drama that ran on TTV from 2 December 2017 to 24 February 2018, produced by 6F Production with Eastern Television, whose EBC channel also carried it. The series pairs two teachers with opposite philosophies, a mathematician who reasons everything out and a history teacher who does not, and pushes them together through a crime investigation. Her casting portfolio lists the part as a secondary role and credits it under the nickname 小心.

From there her credits are a run of single-episode and guest appearances across well-known Taiwanese productions: the emcee at a school anniversary in Detention (返校, PTS and Netflix, 2020), the character 小淨 in The Victims’ Game (誰是被害者, 2020), a dental assistant in the 2021 series adaptation of More Than Blue (比悲傷更悲傷的故事), a girlfriend in the 2021 film 我沒有談的那場戀愛, a colleague of Jia-Yi in Netflix’s Copycat Killer (模仿犯, 2023), 小愛 in the ensemble comedy drama The Nipple Talk (妮波自由式), a hospital courier in the 2025 film Lovesick (有病才會喜歡你), and the supporting part 張筑聿 in 血．拾人生 (2024). Two lead roles in smaller productions sit in the same stretch: 小安 in 夏之芽 (2018) and 小晴 in 相邀 (2019).

In 2026 she returned to a regular role. She plays Zhi Ling across the twelve episode main run of Connecting to You (整個世界，只有你連上了我), the Taiwanese boys’ love series produced by GrX Studio with Force Films, directed by Yu Jhi-han from a screenplay Yu co-wrote with Wen Huei-ming, adapted from a web novel by Beck. The main run aired from 14 August to 11 September 2026, followed by one special episode on 18 September 2026, with episodes of roughly thirty minutes. Distribution runs through Viki, GagaOOLala, MyVideo, friDay Video and iQIYI International. The premise gives its lead the ability to see emotional bonds as coloured threads, and the first thread he ever manages to connect runs to a police officer.

Alongside the screen work her portfolio lists a substantial commercial career, including lead roles in campaigns credited to the directors 羅景壬 and 黃信堯 for clients including 全國電子, 新北住都中心 and 原味本舖, plus supporting work in a McDonald’s campaign and the 小時光麵館 series.
