SYNOPSIS

Pit Babe (Thai: พิษเบ๊บ เดอะ ซีรีส์) is a 2023 Thai Boys' Love series produced by Change2561 and directed by Nopachai Jayanama. Thirteen episodes aired on Channel One31 from 17 November 2023 to 9 February 2024.

It sets a Boys' Love romance inside professional motor racing and adds an Omegaverse premise, which is where the science-fiction and fantasy labels on the record come from. Babe (Naret "Pavel" Promphaopun) is a driver bound by a bargain to his own team-mate; Charlie (Krittin "Pooh" Kitjaruwannakul) is the newcomer who upends it. Around them the racing team carries four further storylines, with Way (Supanut Lourhaphanich), Pete (Obrnithi Leelavetchabutr), Kim (Atthanin Thaninphanuwiwat) and Dean (Asre Wattanayakul), and a standing antagonist in Tony, played by the series' own producer Vorarit Vaijairanai.

The series is adapted from the two-volume Thai novel Pit Babe (พิษเบ๊บ). A second season of thirteen episodes followed, running from 2 May to 25 July 2025.

Adaptation
Adapted from the Thai Boys' Love novel Pit Babe (พิษเบ๊บ), published as a two-volume set under ISBN 9786165601092. The author's pen name appears in two spellings that are both genuinely in circulation: _alittlebitch, used by TMDB and by the English Wikipedia article, and alittlebixth, used by Thai book retailers and by Thai entertainment press. Wikipedia itself records both. Neither spelling is presented here as the correct one. The publisher could not be confirmed from a source we accept, so it is not stated.

KEY TAKEAWAYS

  • Thirteen episodes, Fridays at 21:15 on Channel One31, 17 November 2023 to 9 February 2024. iQIYI carried an exclusive uncut version an hour later, at 22:15, the same night.
  • Two versions were broadcast in parallel every week. The One31 broadcast cut and the iQIYI uncut cut are different edits of the same episode, which is unusual for a Thai weekly slot.
  • A Boys’ Love romance built on an Omegaverse premise, set inside professional motor racing. The fantasy and science-fiction genre tags on this record come from that premise, not from the racing.
  • The director is a film actor, not a Boys’ Love director. Nopachai Jayanama is a leading man in Thai cinema, and this is a rare directing credit for him.
  • The producer plays the villain. Vorarit Vaijairanai is credited as producer and appears as Tony, the antagonist, across both seasons.
  • Episode lengths vary widely, from 47 to 62 minutes, a fifteen-minute spread. A single runtime figure would misrepresent the series, so the range is recorded instead.
  • It ran through Christmas and New Year without a break week. Episodes 6 and 7 aired on 22 and 29 December 2023 on schedule.
  • A second season of thirteen episodes followed, 2 May to 25 July 2025, moved an hour later in the schedule. The entire principal cast returned.

EDITOR’S VERDICT

Recorded, not yet scored.

Two things make Pit Babe structurally unusual rather than just generically popular. The first is that it was broadcast twice a week in two different edits, a free-to-air cut on One31 at 21:15 and an uncut version on iQIYI an hour later. That is a distribution decision with a creative consequence, because it means the version a viewer saw depended on where they watched, and the two audiences were not watching the same programme.

The second is the Omegaverse frame. Grafting it onto motor racing gives the series a built-in hierarchy that the racing team would not otherwise supply, and it is the reason the record carries fantasy and science-fiction genre tags alongside sports and romance. Whether that frame is handled well is a judgement this page does not yet make.

Worth noting on the credits: Nopachai Jayanama directs, which is a rare move for an actor of his standing in Thai cinema, and the producer Vorarit Vaijairanai plays the antagonist himself across both seasons.

Not scored. This page was built from the production record rather than from a viewing, and BLGLFLIX records a number only once somebody here has watched the full run. A scored review will replace this note when one is written.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is Pit Babe about?

Pit Babe is a 2023 Thai Boys' Love series set in professional motor racing, built on an Omegaverse premise. Babe is a driver bound by a bargain to his own team-mate, and Charlie is the newcomer whose arrival upends it. The racing team around them carries several further storylines.

How many episodes does Pit Babe have?

Season 1 has 13 episodes. Episode lengths run from 47 to 62 minutes rather than a fixed duration, which is why this page records a range instead of a single figure.

When did Pit Babe air?

Fridays at 21:15 on Channel One31 in Thailand, from 17 November 2023 to 9 February 2024. An exclusive uncut version went up on iQIYI at 22:15 the same night.

Why does this page say 17 November when some sources say 10 November?

Because the sources disagree and the arithmetic settles it. The English Wikipedia article gives 10 November 2023 as the premiere, but also gives 9 February 2024 as the finale. Thirteen weekly episodes starting on 10 November would end on 2 February, not 9 February. Starting on 17 November lands exactly on 9 February. The 17 November date is also what TMDB carries and what Channel One31's own announcement and Thai entertainment press reported. We have recorded 17 November and are stating the conflict rather than hiding it.

Who stars in Pit Babe?

Naret "Pavel" Promphaopun plays Babe and Krittin "Pooh" Kitjaruwannakul plays Charlie. The wider principal cast includes Supanut Lourhaphanich as Way, Obrnithi Leelavetchabutr as Pete, Atthanin Thaninphanuwiwat as Kim, Asre Wattanayakul as Dean, Thanapon Aiemkumchai as Jeff, Hemmawich Kwanamphaiphan as Alan, Pantach Kankham as Kenta, Supakorn Saokhor as Sonic, Kiettisak Vatanavitsakul as North, Pataraphol Wanlopsiri as Winner, and Vorarit Vaijairanai as Tony.

Why do some of the cast not have profile pages on this site?

Because we have not written them yet. This site only opens a profile page for someone once we can research it properly, and we would rather name a performer accurately in the text here than publish a thin page about them. The cast members who already have pages are linked; the rest are named above and will be linked as their pages are written.

Who directed Pit Babe?

Nopachai Jayanama, better known as a leading actor in Thai cinema than as a director. The screenplay is by Kanokphan Ornrattanasakul, Issaraporn Kuntisuk and Irene Insot.

Is Pit Babe based on a novel?

Yes, on the two-volume Thai novel Pit Babe (พิษเบ๊บ). The author's pen name is published in two different spellings across otherwise reliable sources, and we have recorded both rather than choosing one. The publisher could not be confirmed and is left blank.

What age rating does Pit Babe carry?

iQIYI, the official streaming platform, publishes it as TV-MA, which converts to MA in the classification used on this site. That classification is editorial and is not a broadcast certificate. We could not confirm Channel One31's own on-air rating symbol from the broadcaster's own pages, and we have not guessed at one.

What is the difference between the One31 version and the iQIYI version?

iQIYI carried an exclusive uncut edit, released an hour after the broadcast cut each Friday. The two are different edits of the same episode.

Is there a second season?

Yes. Thirteen episodes ran from 2 May to 25 July 2025, moved an hour later to 22:15 on One31 with the iQIYI uncut version at 23:15. The entire principal cast returned, with two performers added. Season 2 will get its own page on this site.

Where can I watch Pit Babe?

On iQIYI, which carries the series officially and holds the uncut version. Availability varies by region and by platform licensing.

Does the soundtrack have a Spotify album?

No single compiled album exists. The soundtrack was released as individual singles, including Better Me, Speed of Love, Invisible Love and It's All Right. The link on this page therefore points to the soundtrack's artist page rather than to an album, because no album represents the full soundtrack.

What awards has Pit Babe won?

It took the Kazz Magazine Popular Award and Best Y Series at the 12th Ganesha Awards in 2024, Series of the Year at the Feed Y Awards, and Best Production Team of the Year at the Y Entertain Awards. It also held nominations it did not win, including Most Popular Series at the Feed Y Awards and several Y Universe Awards categories.

Does anyone under eighteen appear in this series?

Two performers appeared as children in single-episode flashback roles. This site does not publish dates of birth, measurements, schooling, residence or social accounts for anyone under eighteen, whatever other sites choose to publish, and we do not associate them with the adult storylines of the series.

Why are some fields on this page empty?

An empty field means we could not confirm a value in a source we accept, not that no value exists. The novel's publisher and the broadcaster's own on-air rating symbol are both empty for that reason.
