BIOGRAPHY
Naret Promphaopun (Thai: นเรศ พร้อมเผ่าพันธ์; born 6 May 1997), known professionally as Pavel Phoom (Thai: พาเวลพูม) or simply Pavel, is a Thai actor, model, singer and entrepreneur signed to CHANGE2561. He is known for playing Babe in Pit Babe (2023) and its 2025 second season, and is one half of the PoohPavel on-screen pairing with Pooh Krittin Kitjaruwannakul.
He had been working for four years before that series. His first credited role was Forth in 2 Moons 2 (2019), and in 2020 he presented the travel programme Travel With Us. In 2022 he led Coffee Melody as Pleng Ruk, and in 2024 he appeared in support as Copter in Fierce & Furious Academy. That is a working career rather than a debut, and it is the part of his record most easily missed by audiences who arrived at the racing series.
Pit Babe cast him as Babe, the lead. The series went out on One31 in Thailand and on iQIYI internationally, in two separate edits broadcast an hour apart, and it is the production that created the pairing he has worked inside since. He returned as Babe for Pit Babe 2 in 2025, played Singha in the horror mystery Goddess Bless You From Death the same year, and took the role of Won in The Grim Lover in 2026.
He records as a solo artist alongside acting. His first single, Drink, featuring Young ill, arrived in 2021 with a music video that June. A second, Take Your Time, was released on 7 December 2024, with its official video following on 21 March 2025.
He graduated from Rangsit University International College with a BA in Communication Arts, completing the degree on 23 January 2022, roughly a year before the series that changed the scale of his career.
His awards run from 2024 onward and include the Y Universe Awards’ The Best Leading Role and two Feed Y Awards in 2024, Best Chemistry at the 2025 Feed X Khaosod Awards, and in 2026 Outstanding Actor of the Year at the Kazz Awards, Popular Actor at the Kom Chad Luek Awards, the Kinnaree Public Awards’ Popular Leading Actor Award, the Global Empower Best Viral BL Couple Award and Best Couple of the Year at the Maya Awards.
He was born on 6 May 1997, which makes him a Taurus. His Chinese zodiac sign is the Ox.
The two halves of this pairing did not arrive from the same place.
His co-star’s filmography begins with Pit Babe and contains nothing outside the partnership. His own begins in 2019 and holds a lead in another boys love series, a travel programme he presented, a supporting role and two solo singles, none of which involve Pooh Krittin Kitjaruwannakul at all. One of them was found by the pairing. The other walked into it with a career already running.
That asymmetry is common in the Thai model and rarely stated. A studio pairs a performer who has proved he can carry a scene with one who has not yet been asked to, and the established half absorbs the risk of the newer one. It is why the roman order of a pairing name is so often the reverse of the billing order, and why CHANGE2561 publishing the name as PoohPavel rather than PavelPooh is a choice rather than an accident.
His 2022 degree is worth noting for the timing. He finished a communication arts BA in January of that year and was leading a flagship series within about eighteen months, having already spent three years on screen. The breakthrough looks sudden from outside and was not.
The music sits apart from all of it. Two singles, four years apart, released under his own name and unconnected to any soundtrack, which is a different thing from the joint pairing album a Thai studio would ordinarily build.
