UNB

UNB (Korean: 유앤비, also written Uni+ B) was a nine member South Korean boy band formed through the KBS programme The Unit. The group debuted on 7 April 2018 with the EP Boyhood, which carried the tracks Feeling and Only One.

The members were Euijin, Feeldog, Daewon, Marco, Ko Ho-jung, Ji Han-sol, Jun, Chan and Kijung. Jun is Lee Jun-young, who also works as an actor and holds a profile of his own in this catalogue; he was the group’s centre and main vocalist.

UNB was formed as a limited run project and concluded its activities on 27 January 2019.

UNB was put together as a fixed term project, which shaped everything the group did. All nine members arrived with experience, whether from Big Star, Bigflo, Hotshot, Madtown, A.C.E, IM, Hot Blood Youth or U-KISS, so the group worked at a fast pace from the start. Their first fan meeting in March 2018 came before the debut and sold out in two hours, and the debut stage for Boyhood was given on You Hee-yeol’s Sketchbook on release day. A second EP, Black Heart, followed in June 2018. When the project closed on 27 January 2019, the members returned to their own groups, to solo music and, in Jun’s case, to a full acting career as Lee Jun-young.
