BIOGRAPHY
Alec Kevin Rigonan (born June 18, 1997), billed as Alec Kevin, is a Filipino actor, model and dancer. He plays Chen Chavez in Boys’ Lockdown (2020), the six-episode Ticket2Me production directed by Jade Castro and written by Danice Mae P. Sison, about two strangers whose relationship has to be conducted through a quarantine.
He came to it from physics and street dance. He took a degree in Applied Physics at the University of the Philippines and danced with the university’s street dance team, which won gold at the UAAP cheerdance competition in 2016. Through that scene he met the director Mon Garilao, who cast him in the short film Fish Out of Water, an entry at the 2016 Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival, where it took a Special Jury Prize and went on to a Gawad Urian nomination. He also worked in modelling and brand endorsement, which took him abroad on promotional trips.
He has said he answered the Boys’ Lockdown casting call himself, as a post he saw after graduating, rather than being approached through an agency. The series ran on the Ticket2Me platform, on YouTube and later on the Heart of Asia Channel; a second season was developed with an entirely different cast.
He and Ali King were promoted together as KeyChen, a compound of their two character names, which is the standard way a Philippine boys’ love pairing is marketed.

The cast lines on that record have been rewritten accordingly.
Swapped characters are an easy error to make with a pairing marketed as one word. KeyChen was promoted as a unit, and a unit has no order to it, so which name belongs to which face is exactly the detail a secondhand cast list loses.
It is also the sort of thing that then propagates, because the next list is copied from the last one. Getting it right once, with the sources shown, is the point of keeping a record at all.
