The NgernOat pairing was cast by Studio Wabi Sabi for The Sun from Another Star, the second arc of Fourever You Part 2, which premiered on March 4, 2026. Ngern Anupart Luangsodsai and Oat Tharathon Phumphothingam play Arthit and Daotok, a popular but skeptical medical student and a withdrawn art student who can see and speak to spirits; when the restless energy in Daotok’s haunted dormitory room escalates, Arthit is drawn in as his unlikely protector, and their wary truce grows once Arthit asks for help reaching his late mother’s soul.
Ngern and Oat had already appeared together as supporting characters, Arthit and Daotok, in the original 2024 Fourever You season, before Studio Wabi Sabi built the pair’s own dedicated eight-episode arc into Part 2, adapted from Howlsairy’s novel “West: The Sun from Another Star.” The two also co-performed the arc’s official soundtrack, “Khang Lai.” During a TikTok livestream in 2026, Ngern and Oat officially announced their fandom name, Sugar (ชูก้า), explaining that it reflects both their shared fondness for sweets and how they see their fans.

Fourever You Part 2 began on 20 December 2025, and Fourever You Part 2: The Sun from Another Star followed on 4 March 2026. The two runs overlap rather than queue, since the parent season continued to 2 July 2026 while the arc finished on 22 April. A gap measured in weeks describes continuous work, not a return after time away.
That closeness is a property of the format. Studio Wabi Sabi is the studio on both records, GMM25, WeTV and YouTube carry both, and both are rated 13+ and tagged BL. The arc lists mystery and supernatural beside romance and drama, with fantasy and slow burn added, a set the parent season only partly shares. Recorded joint runtime across the two entries reaches 1,856 minutes, close to thirty-one hours.
Both records are Thai productions, which is the country behind most pairing entries here. Span figures are usually read as evidence of a hiatus and a comeback. Seventy-four days is the opposite case, and it is the shape an anthology season tends to produce for the pairings inside it.

Their co-performance of the arc's theme song, "Khang Lai," extended that emotional register beyond the show itself, reinforcing the pair's onscreen bond for fans.</p>
