He runs his own company and sits on the board of the body that represents the form he works in.

Yoshihiko Aramaki, born 5 February 1990 in Tokyo, plays Kurosawa in Cherry Magic The Musical. He has been the representative of his own agency, Pasture, since April 2021, and in February 2025 he was appointed a director of the Japan 2.5D Musical Association.

Those two facts change how the rest of the page reads. A performer who leaves a management company to run his own is taking on the business, and one who then joins the board of an industry association has moved from being cast to being consulted about how the sector is organised. Very few actors at any age hold both positions.

He arrived by an unlikely route. An economics degree, then a pop group whose album came out in 2011, then a musical stage debut in 2012, and from 2016 the samurai-sword role he is now permanently identified with across a decade of productions.
