BIOGRAPHY
Lakkate Wasikachart (Thai: หลักเขต วสิกชาติ), credited under the nickname Nun, is a Thai director and actor. Directing credits run from 2012 to 2026, and acting credits reach back to 1995. Almost all of the directing is mainstream Thai television, and Flower Boy is the one boys’ love series.
The acting comes first in time. It starts with a spirit role in Dark Side Romance (1995) and continues with parts in 90 Shock and Dream Society (1997). A supporting role as San in the 1998 series Chee Wit Puer Ka Huajai Puer Ter follows, and so does Seebin in Tang Fah Tawan Diew (2006). A guest appearance in Zeal 5 Kon Gla Tah Atam, which Lakkate Wasikachart also directed in 2012, ties the two careers together, and a guest turn on The Story in 2022 is among the latest.
Directing before 2018 includes Zeal 5 Kon Gla Tah Atam (2012) and Lueat Tat Lueat (2015). The run of credits that can be counted episode by episode begins with Buang Ruk Satan (2018). It is a ten episode series with both the directing and the creator credit. What follows is long-form lakorn at scale: Talay Rissaya (2019), Kiss of the Cobra (2020) across twenty-eight episodes, Soot Rak Sap E-Lee (2020) across forty-five, My Lovely Bodyguard (หัวใจรักพิทักษ์เธอ, 2022) across twelve on ONE 31 for GMM One, A Wildflower in the City (2023) across thirty-seven, the five episode Mon Rak Kantrum (2024) and Echoes of the Lost City (2025) across thirty-eight. In January 2026 came The School (ศักดินาวิทยาลัย), a ten episode ONE 31 drama about a school split between rich and poor students.
On 25 April 2026 came Flower Boy (หลงกลิ่นเกสร). Eight episodes on ONE 31, running to 13 June 2026, produced in house by ONE31. The director credit goes to Natthaphong Wongkaweepairod, with Lakkate Wasikachart and Santi Torwiwat credited as co-directors and Danuphon Chaimueanwong on the screenplay. The premise is a fantasy: a cold executive abducts a magical being to take his irresistible scent, and finds that both the fragrance and his own survival depend on winning the person he has taken. Satjakorn Chalard plays Scent and Peemapol Panichtamrong plays Kaysorn, both across all eight episodes.
Long-form lakorn episode counts of twenty-eight to forty-five gave way to a co-director credit on an eight episode boys’ love fantasy.
In my view the most useful way to read this career is by scale. Kiss of the Cobra and Soot Rak Sap E-Lee together ran seventy-three episodes in 2020, while The School and Flower Boy together run eighteen in 2026, both on ONE 31 and released three months apart, on 21 January and 25 April. The broadcaster named on the credits is the same for both titles, and the working unit has shrunk from a season that fills months to one that fills a single quarter.
Flower Boy ended on 13 June 2026. The Edge of Horizon (อรุณรุ่ง), a period BL set in 1932, ran from 20 June to 29 August. ONE31 produced both in house, and both list Takonkiet Viravan and Nipon Pewnen as executive producers. If I had to choose one place to begin, I would start with Mon Rak Kantrum, because five episodes is the quickest way to see this director’s handling of a rural story before moving to the larger canvases.
